Delivery

Royal Wolf has established solid relationships with contacts in the transport industry to ensure that your container arrives safely & on time.

Delivery & pick-up costs depend on where you need your container delivered to. Your Royal Wolf representative will give you an exact figure before you place your order.

Generally your container can be delivered within 24 hours however this is subject to availability of the product & any modifications or accessories that you require. Your Royal Wolf representative will discuss your product availability & modification timeline before you place your order. Important issues that you will need to think about are:

Door Direction
The container can be loaded on the truck with the doors facing either the cabin or the rear of the truck. To facilitate efficient use of the container on your site it is important that the container be loaded on the truck correctly..

Site Surface
Ideally, the container should sit on a level surface. The container can also be placed on sleepers or concrete pads, if required. It is important that the container sits level in order to ensure correct operation, such as the opening & closing of doors.

Safety Issues
The delivery area should be clear of obstructions such as overhanging branches & electrical wiring.

There are three different types of trucks that can be used to deliver a container. The selected delivery method largely depends on your specific location, ease of access etc. Your Royal Wolf representative will discuss & confirm your exact delivery requirements & timing when you place your order.

Tilt Tray
The container is loaded onto the truck in the requested direction so that when the driver takes the container off the truck it is facing the direction that you need. As the name suggests, the tray of the truck that has your container on it will tilt & the container will be lowered onto the site.

This method is ideal for areas that can be reversed into & where the flooring is not likely to damaged

6m Tilt Tray
Height Clearance – 4.8m (16')
Width Clearance – 3m (10')
Length Clearance – 12m (40')

Delivery Logistics
The truck can only reverse onto the site & is unloaded by sliding the container off the back of the tray as it is tilted.

Side Loader
The container is unloaded from the truck by lifting it up at each end & lowering it onto the ground directly next to the trucks' tray. A side loader is particularly useful for unloading containers in tight spaces.

6m Sideloader
Height Clearance – 4.5m (15')
Width Clearance – 6m (20')
Length Clearance – 10m (33')

12m Sideloader
Height Clearance – 4.5m (15')
Width Clearance – 6m (20')
Length Clearance – 16m (53')

Delivery Logistics
The truck can either reverse or drive onto your site but can only be unloaded from the right hand (drivers) side.

Hiab
A Hiab is a truck that has a crane attached. This is the ideal method for delivering containers that have no truck access to where the container is required eg. A container can be delivered on the other side of a fence.
