Credit Officer

The Role

Reporting to the Credit Manager you will have proven experience in administration and accounts, you will deliver a high degree of accuracy and a strong ability for data management and document control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collection of overdue accounts and meeting targets
  • Reconciliation and investigation of customer accounts
  • Allocation of monies collected in a timely manner
  • Maintenance of the Accounts Ledger
  • Maintaining high level customer relationships
  • Ensure credit notes and adjustment notes are raised and processed promptly
  • Other administrative duties from time to time

About You

What you will bring to this role:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 2-3 years previous experience in a collection / receivable role for a medium sized operation
  • Financial Acumen
  • Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of payment plans and accounting procedures
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
