Field Technician/ Repairer

The Role

This position is responsible for assisting in the co-ordination of transport, installation/demobilisation and maintenance of RW products at customer locations. 

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Undertake customer site inspections to assess the suitability of RW products for the project
  • Assisting in co-ordination of site installations for building and construction projects
  • Conduct customer site visits to inspect and/or undertake necessary on-site repairs and maintain customer contact to ensure satisfaction
  • Complete repairs and maintenance of RW products to company with quality standards as per specified deadlines
  • General yard duties

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to handle a range of diverse tasks. You will possess:

  • A strong commitment to safe working practices.
  • Experience in Building & Construction industry. 
  • Be highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • The ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Great attitude, confidence, and enthusiasm.
  • A current driver’s licence and a general construction induction card (white card).
  • The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
  • The ability to think laterally, solve problems and offer solutions. The ability to develop, maintain and grow business relationships.
  • Metal trade qualification.
