Galvanised Grated Floor
Bunded galvanised grated floor includes a drainage system to collect any harsh chemicals safely. It is fitted with a valve for easy cleaning and offers a durable and corrosion-resistant surface.
Ventilated Space and Emergency Exit
Vents are fitted to ensure proper airflow and prevent the accumulation of hazardous fumes. An internal emergency door release mechanism allows users to exit the container quickly if necessary.
Security and Safety
Additional earthing connection point provided to secure copper tail and earthing rod (not provided) on the outside of the containers or customers to use, if required. Dangerous Goods containers to be installed in accordance with AS1940-2017.
Using the Container
These containers are designed with safety and functionality in mind to handle dangerous goods effectively. Relevant signage is supplied to inform users about what the container is loaded with.
Class 3 Dangerous and hazardous chemical storage containers are available for hire or sale in three convenient sizes - 8ft (2.3m), 10ft Pallet Wide (3m) and 20ft (6m) and are fully compliant with legislation AS1940-2017. (*Certificates of compliance can be supplied upon request.)
These Class 3 containers are equipped with an internal door release, ventilation, bunded floor and a lockable stainless steel valve in the bund wall, ensuring safety is the number one priority. The tilt tray truck is ideal for delivery to many locations. The container is loaded on the truck in the direction requested ensuring the unit will be in the correct position once delivered. The truck must reverse to the delivery point where the tray of the truck tilts to the ground and the container slides off the back.
6m Tilt Tray Clearance Requirements:
The side loader truck delivers the container by picking it up from the trucks tray at each end of the unit and lowering it onto the site directly next to the trucks’ tray. This method is ideal for delivery of containers that need to fit into constricted spaces. It is important to consider which way the container should be loaded onto the truck as it can only be unloaded from the right hand (drivers’) side.

This delivery method is used when neither a tilt tray or side loader truck can access the site. Crane truck delivery allows for containers to be delivered over obstructions such as fences.
