It’s no secret real estate space in Sydney is at a premium, so when Royal Wolf looked to provide a large number of amenities for a small construction site in Parramatta, they decided the only way to go was up. Royal Wolf recently worked with construction company, Parkview Group to deliver a creative modular amenities facility to help support operations on the construction site of West Village, a luxury residential development in Parramatta. The project resulted in the build of a triple-stacked solution in the compact space, constructed from 18 units, adopting a double-H configuration that is two containers wide.
This meant the team was able to provide 100 workers with all the conveniences required including a fully equipped site office, comfortable lunchrooms to take breaks, spacious change rooms where uniforms can also be securely stored, toilet blocks with the highest quality amenities and an essential first aid room equipped with a bed, sink, fridge and hot water urn. Alex Lee, Service and Product Installation Coordinator at Royal Wolf, said the tight schedule to complete the excavation and lay the groundwork for construction meant the amenities needed to be delivered with speed and precision.
“Our team was thinking ahead, with multiple trucks loaded and on site early in the day. We originally allowed two days, but delivered the complete solution in one. We had a very happy customer who is renting the containers for the next 12 months,” he said. “Alex and the team at Royal Wolf did an exceptional job on our site, the install of the sheds was smooth and efficient.
