Royal Wolf Hosts Festival of Container Ideas

Australian consumers and businesses looking for the latest in container solutions in portable storage, accommodation, retail, freight and hospitality were recently inspired at a festival of ideas to celebrate the opening of Royal Wolf’s dynamic new customer service centre in Sunshine, Melbourne.

Hosted by Australasia’s largest shipping container provider, the event was designed to excite the imagination and demonstrate how “You can do anything in a Royal Wolf.”

CEO of Royal Wolf, Robert Allan, said the facility, featuring a new, architecturally-designed office, constructed from 16 shipping containers, provided the perfect setting to showcase Royal Wolf’s fantastic retail spaces, exciting new product displays and modern production facilities.

“The festival area highlighted examples of the sensational way Royal Wolf containers can be adapted. A pop up retail zone featured fully equipped, converted and decorated shops including a boutique beer bar, a burger joint, Vietnamese food , coffee and ice-cream kiosks, all within a café style setting,” said Mr Allan.

“To demonstrate the diverse and cutting edge range of our product applications, displays also included a granny flat, music studio, fully decorated man cave, commercial kitchen and range of portable accommodation and storage options,” he said.

The growing opportunity for modified containers to be used for pretty much anything was also demonstrated with a Spartan ropes adventure unit along with a containerised cricket practice net.

“The festival of container ideas was an industry first and we were thrilled to be able to show how shipping containers today are being used to solve a wide range of business challenges in a fun and creative way.”
