Murdoch University approached us to design, transport and install their new student services building, MyMurdoch Advice East, within a 3-4 week window. Aside from working within an extremely tight timeframe, our team faced additional challenges in the installation phase due to the site’s location and limited access points.
We called on our National Modifications Manager, Brendon Greatrex, to design and consult with our engineering team. Working efficiently, we brought multiple team members across multiple states together to produce three customised containers. Once complete, the containers were transported to the university. The containers were installed on a Saturday to maximise our time to get them finished in the factory and to allow for additional time to navigate an alternative access path using a bigger crane to avoid damage.
