Royal Wolf helps support special kids for fun day out

Royal Wolf is proud to be one of the sponsors of a local community event for Gosford Rotary Club, who earlier this month hosted their annual fun day for local children living with serious illnesses and disabilities. Now in its 18th year, the event brings joy to hundreds of special children and their families, giving them a much-needed day out. This year, kids were treated to the RAZZAMATAZZ Variety Show - an entertaining mix of tricks, fun and magic, including a special appearance from iconic duo Marty and Emu.

Made possible through the generosity of local individuals and businesses, a portion of the ticket sales has also gone towards Zero to Hero, a local program  that helps educate and empower our youth to cope and reach their full potential. David Boardman, treasurer and event co-ordinator from Gosford Rotary, said this is one of their standout events every year.

“This is an initiative very close to our hearts. We know how much these families go through and that they are often time poor, sometimes their children don’t get to go out a lot. We host this event so they can enjoy a free day of fun for the whole family, and bring a smile to their faces!” he said. “The support and generosity we receive from local businesses like Royal Wolf makes a huge difference to the lives of these children, while helping to raise funds for important initiatives that support the community.”

Simon Collins, Sales Manager of Royal Wolf’s Central Coast branch located in Gosford, said that the team were very keen to play a part in this community initiative. “As a local business, we believe it is important for us to play a role in supporting important causes that help the people closest to us. So we were very excited to sponsor the children’s show now for the second year and look forward to next years’ event,” he said. A record 1,600 kids and families enjoyed the fun and games this year over the three shows held.
