Royal Wolf Trading Australia Pty Ltd said today that it has commenced investigations into reports of high levels of formaldehyde identified in some of its accommodation containers in Nhulunbuy.

The company said an industrial chemist had commenced an investigation of air quality in the company's accommodation containers to verify and understand whether the source of the chemical relates to the containers or to other factors.

Importantly, Royal Wolf Trading Australia Pty Ltd is surprised by the reports as it only commissions its major components such as furnishing, glass, plumbing & electrical if they comply with strict Australian standards.

Further comment will be only made when testing and analysis have taken place.
